What does a set of 21CARS® license plate holders contain?
2x modules for the front license plate and 2x modules for the rear license plate.
Are the owners permitted on the road?
YES, the license plate holders do not require registration and comply with legal regulations.
You can order the report here! However, the customer is responsible for ensuring that their license plates are correctly placed and mounted. For this purpose, the rule according to VTS (Ordinance on the technical requirements for road vehicles) must be observed. The control plates should be mounted so that they do not pose a risk of injury. This means there are no protruding edges of the signs on the bumper. Otherwise, this can be objected to by the road traffic office.

I have 2 vehicles, how many sets do I need for both cars?
One set is for one car. If you have 2 cars and use the holders for interchangeable signs, you will need 2 sets for 2 cars.
Up to how many km/h are the license plate holders tested?
The license plate holders have been tested at speeds over 300 km/h!
Does that even hold up?
Yes! Our parts have been tested and are designed for use. The parts are made of a high-quality plastic mixture. Of course, no plastic is made to last forever. But it will last for several years without any problem!
Do I have to be a mechanic to install the holders?
No. The conversion usually only takes a few minutes and can be changed using a standard wrench.
Do I have to order an appraisal?
No. Normally, the parts can be moved on the road without any problems, even without a certificate . Unfortunately, there are a few police officers or road traffic authorities (inspectors) who object to the parts, but this is not the case as long as they have followed the rule in the question above. Then you can purchase the report from us at cost price and the problem will be solved.

Long format
Refers to a long license plate (rear) measuring 11 x 50 cm. These signs are the most common and are used by over 95% of vehicles in Switzerland.
Portrait format
Also called "portrait format", refers to the high sign (rear) on the vehicle (dimensions 30 x 16 cm) and is often found on US imports or vintage cars and is rather rare.
